The New Land Rover 2012 revealed its spanking brand new LR2/Freelander 2. For the first time ever, Land Rover forgoes the all-wheel drive in favor of a more efficient front-wheel drive setup for this SUV. The LR2/Freelander 2 will get a revised 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine that produces around 150 horsepower. In manual transmission, the diesel engine can get up to 38 mpg U.S. model release in the market.
As for the exterior changes, the 2012 Freelander 2 has been redesigned with new front bumper cap with revamped fog lamps, a new front grille finish, revised headlamps and tail lights, a full width tailgate appliqué and two new 18- or 19-inch alloy wheel patterns.Changes to the interior is modest with a revised instrument dials and four new seat styles with the option of a Premium Pack that also includes Windsor Leather upholstery, an 8/6 way electric seat apply.
